Join us January 19-21, 10AM–2PM to help create handmade mittens benefiting Saline Area Social Service. No sewing experience needed—just bring scissors and a warm heart.
Mitten Week is a Salt Valley Arts community effort to create cozy, handmade mittens that benefit Saline Area Social Service.
Monday–Wednesday | 10 AM–2 PM
Help us prep the mittens we sell by cutting fabric pieces—no sewing experience required. This is a perfect way to contribute while chatting, listening to music, or enjoying a relaxed lunch break.
What to bring:
• Sharp scissors
• Pins
• Your lunch — or grab something delicious from Blossom Café, right in the building

Light freezing rain, with a high of 28 and low of 5 degrees. Light freezing rain in the morning, sunny in the afternoon, partly cloudy for the evening, light freezing rain overnight.
Irresponsible.
Rather like the $ being spent at the Senior Center, at least a large part of it. Was just there yesterday morning and they were removing a large number of serviceable wall cabinets still in very good condition and replacing with new ones.
The senior center is a great resource for us seniors who can’t afford or justify the costs of the rec center.
You constantly degrade the value of this facility and REALLY show your true colors. You should take a step back and quit the negative remarks about SASC.
